Hi, everyone, I'm new to the forums, but I've been browsing this forum for some time now. Anyways, I was getting tired of my 10 year old pc(10 in 2012) and its about time I upgrade to more today. I have 3 budget limits: $500, $600, $700
Preferably Tiger Direct please. Here are the parts I require and I was going for the AMD A8-3850 build,,w ill save me money because I won't have to buy a GPU.

Style of use: web surfing, HD videos, playing minor free FPS games, other games such as GTA 4, Medal of Honor, BF2, etc.

Current build I might go with: $651 w/ shipping and handling

CPU: AMD A8-3850 APU with HD 6000 series graphics, quad core
Mobo: AMD A series mobo, socket fm1, ECS-A75F-M2
RAM: EDITCorsair XMS3 4GB
HD: Western Digital caviar blue HD 500gb
GPU: HD 6450 1GB, PCI-e
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master 212+
PSU: Corsair Builder series 600w PSU
OS: Windows 7 64bit home premium
Case: Coolermaster elite 310(good case, fits my needs, nothing expensive)
2 fans, hard drive cooler
Optical drive: CD/DVD reader/writer combo from my current computer
Moniter: My 18" Widescreen monitor

any other suggestions? Much appreciated

For the HD, Id recommend the Samsung Spinpoint T3 Instead.

Also for a cpu cooler, the Coolermaster 212+ is good, and cheap.

Ram, I would probably go with Ripjaws X instead as well. Or the G.skill Eco's. They're very decent too.

Hmmmm. Weird, tigerdirect doesn't carry the Spinpoint... Does it definitely have to all be from tigerdirect?
well not all, some parts I cant find from TD but it can also be from someplace else (US based plz) and thx

edit: the mobo is socket FM1, it says that the CM 212 works with LGA 1366, 1156, 775, AMD AM3, AM2+, AM2.

If a cooler works with AM2/3, It'll work on a FM1 Socket.
