Ditto. Can get one on amazon for 40. Will last longer than compressed air, better for environment, and will end up costing less in long run

Hmm... You probably have to pull out your card. Turn off the computer, turn the PSU off, turn the power at the wall off, and pull the power cord out. Then remove the card safly smile.gif

You could use a vacuum cleaner. Maybe an air pressure can smile.gif
Don't forget to press the power button once the power cord has been taken out because the PSU will still have some power in it. tongue.gif

Dont use a vacuum cleaner inside your pc, that ads static electricity that can damage components, dont use alcohol, soap or any liquid subtances.

Read my post. How would you justify the static electricity? How would it create static electricity by using air to suck out dust?

A hair dryer and a vacuum cleaner is not the same thing at all - but if he really does refer to a hair dryer then what would cause it really? Blowing air/hot air on it or using compressed air - isn't it basically the same thing with different pressure?

A hair dryer won't do anything useful. Just spend $5 on a can of air.

That's what I thought wink.gif

But the post was also on the subject of air creating static electricity... Using a hair dryer or a can of compressed air, either way it's still air...
