I just do not believe anything from that trash of a website,[WCCF]. The names of the new FX chips are not even the names that AMD had announced they were going with. Why believe this? What happened with the FX-4110, FX-6110, FX-8110 and FX-8130P? I guess they could change the naming schemes but why? Anyways, if AMD, or a reliable sight confirms this stuff it would be believable, but this site, [WCCF] has too bad of a rep for being wrong to believe.

From what i've read the yields are bad and they had to scrap some models but that's never been confirmed.

I guess that is a possibility. I just wish little things like that could be announced at some point if they are true. Sep 19 is still 2 months away! Look for my 990FX in for sale section soon. I may jump ship and go Sandy Bridge. Then again i dont want to believe that website, so I guess a more reliable source would have to tell me something. Or I may get my 3rd wind of patience and just tuff it out yet a little longer.

@People saying BD is to compete with SB-E - you're wrong.

Bulldozer was originally meant to compete with Sandy Bridge & Ivy Bridge, and it will still do so.

AMD aren't in the enthusiast market so it'd be pretty tough for them to compete against SB-E and IB-E when they don't even have any enthusiast chips out.

See what I'm saying?

Its like I'm in day-care, a good debate is good for everyone.
Except for bickering about an unreleased product that we know little about, in a thread about "news" from a very unreliable source is counter productive. Good debate is fine, but most bulldozer threads are just flamewars. The mods are doing their jobs.

OT, the 9/19 date that this site claims is official is from "ember 19th" that was in the FX comic -- i.e.conspiracy theory at its best... This is a another "nothing to see here" bulldozer rumor.

Only fact in the article is that AMD has officially confirmed that they are shipping the CPU next month to OEMs and distributors.

I hope this junk is true...
4.5 turbo, Im not sure if people really grasp that concept.

My 1100t crashes at 4.2 on water/chiller<--- that's enough to have condensation problems.

4.5 Stock is OMGCRAZY! This makes me a little skeptical.

Well,it is 32nm if that make any difference. But, wouldn't 2 additional cores and more cache make the chip run just as hot? Another thing is AMD has to keep the FX within reasonable temps with the same AM3 copper cooler (or atleast what we have seen so far). With 4.5 stock, there may only be enough room for a 400-500mhz overclock, unless the new Turbo Core can allow for higher OC.

want: FX8170
but i probably cant afford it, and that BD might not fit in my CHIV
so FX6150 or FX8100 will prolly be in my budget and *hopefully* will fit in my board.
