My psu HAS to be running at 100% under load ALL the time. I <3 when it gets noticably loud! Who said he would even sell them once he's done with them. Ever heard of a HTPC? Ever heard of MAKING A NEW PC? There are a lot of other ways to use graphics cards. Look at your rig. You have a caviar black. Maybe its the large amount of reviews mentioning that their F3 failed after X amount of months and the amount of DOAs. Smaller capacity hard drives tend to have high MTBF than larger ones. Sorry I like when my components work. Sue me. This could go on forever. Im done.
Actually there is a difference. The 640gb Caviar Black is quite nice and I didn't need the full 1tb when i first built this rig. After a while I started filling it up so I bought a Samsung F3.
An extra 200 watts?? That is called a waste. By your logic every one should running Silverstone Strider 1500s and disregard how much they actually need. I personally do not like wasting money on excess things that I know are completely unnecessary.
When it comes to using GPUs for other reason I agree that there are other places that you can reuse your graphics cards. I personally would rather sell my card and have some money in my pocket for the replacement card instead of having to lighten my wallet even more due to this expensive hobby. Sorry for trying to save OP money.
