560 ti failure rate

Thread Starter
Im from mexico(isn't the right place to buy hardware its a bit pricey) and going to US the next week and i think i can get a nice offer from newegg to save some money but if i make a wrong choice, the RMA process will take months and there no will money saved, so i have to choose wisely.

Anyway im getting headaches choosing a 560 ti because the failure rate, i was thinking on buying the MSI twin frozr 2 but there are a lot of bad reviews about cards dying after 1week - 4 months same as gigabyte should i take care about newegg reviews?, theres EVGA with their lifetime warranty and factory oc'd card (also low failure rate) i was thinking on getting one from them but what about the heat due to sli? by the way im going to get another 560 ti for future sli.

I can't speak for the reviews, but mine has been rock solid for at least 3-4 months. I do not overclock it either...well I might start after trying to run dirt 3.

Great card, quiet, low temps, and I'm able to max most games 2010 and back.

I got two of those MSI 560Ti TFII in SLI (see sig).

I own the cards for 4 months now, no issues whatsoever. I have a good powersupply, good case cooling, the cards are staying pretty cool.

Apparently, there is some new 560TI TFII batches that are coming with VRM sinks+PCB bracket on them...

Mines don't have extra VRM cooling, but I don't overclock the cards, the 880MHz clocks are good enough.

Honestly, I get ALMOST the same 3Dmarks 11 P-score with those 2 TFIIs than with my EVGA GTX590 classified (that I kept a week only)....

2 X MSI GTX560TI TFII Pscore was : 8399
1 X EVGA GTX 590 classified Pscore : 8500

On the rig in sig.....

Of course, at higher res, the GTX590 would be better because of the extra vRAM....
