Using two different monitor

I have one 19" widescreen and a 1280x1024 monitor. Can I use both screen as my display using my 6950 1GB? Is there anything I have to do to make both screen work?

Gonna be using one for Web, video chat, etc and the widescreen for gaming.

Thanks!

Just plug them both in.. Drivers should automatically set it up for you.. The only thing you will need to do after that is make sure you set the main display to your widescreen so games will launch on it.

Short answer yes.

Long answer Yes, but if you try to use them as one viewing screen it will default them both the the highest common resolution they can produce, i.e probable a lower res widescreen on the 1280*1024. If you are using the 1280 as an extension of your desktop without using it as a "dual screen" setup for gaming, you will have no problems. I run this all the time playing WoW. I'll have Wow on the wide screen and wowhead up on the 1280.

Hmm I ran into a problem. I have my main monitor connected using DVI and the other monitor using VGA to DVI converter. I can't seem to get my monitor to work/detected.
