Difference between SATA2 and SATA3?

Hey everyone
So the title pretty much tells you everything... Is there a noticeable difference between SATA2 and SATA3 SSDs?

Depending on how fast the drive is in the first place SATA 3 will read/write faster than a SATA 2 Drive.

Generally SATA 3 drives will be better than SATA 2 drives because they are newer tech.

SATA 3 is able to do 6 GB/s while SATA 2 is able to do 3 GB/s, but if your drive isn't fast enough to fully take avantage of SATA 2, SATA 3 may be a waste of money for you.
