Hey everyone.

So im new here. And i heard a lot of good stuff about OCN & how helpful you guys are.

So i want to build a gaming PC before BF3. And that will be able to run BF3 at or close to its highest settings & that will be able to last me a couple years (gaming wise). And i have no idea what im doing or what to look for or do.

I heard Intel > AMD & that the i5 2500k SB is all u need if all im doing is gaming & just regular CPU stuff (Browse internet, music & other stuff)

My budget is around $850 ... No monitor, Keyboard or mouse needed at the moment.

But yeah, can you guys help me build a PC? And everything needed in a rig to run gaming and all that.. Please? & thank you

You can def tweek what I sugested a bit. Its all good hardware. Find a case you like with good airflow. PSU, you can find em cheaper than $90 but its always a good idea to have a decent brand and not junk. Again, look for Combo deals, and even open buys are good. I think tue and thurs are best on newegg for video card open box. Always great deals

Looks pretty good to me. Should be pretty fast for how much you're spending.

I didn't see if you needed a hard drive or not so here's one that seems to be pretty popular among the price/performance crowd.
$60 Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB 7200RPM HDD

You might also want to look into an aftermarket CPU cooler if you plan on overclocking, which I assume you are if you're getting the 2500K. Here's a popular budget cooler that seems to yield decent results for air cooling:
$29 Cooler Master Hyper 212+ CPU Cooler

You'll want an optical drive as well but I'm sure you have a spare lying around or can reuse the one from your current PC.

Good luck!
