8TB HTPC Server

Thread Starter
Last night me and 2 friends got together, and decided it was high time we build a case instead of buying them, and not being satisfyied.

Our goals with this build:

1. House a fully functional HTPC, Using Winx64 and Boxee
2. Hold Upwards of 8TB of data, with the ability to add more
3. Small, yet functional and robust

So after about an hour of talking and deciding, we came up with a plan, that was to incorporate:

--8-16 Full hot-swappable 3.5'' Hard drives, mounted vertically in the front portion of the case.
--Mini-ITX mobo and full size ATM PSU, for size constraints and power issues with smaller PSU's
--2 Front-mounted 120mm fans for cooling
--Integrated Cisco E2000 Gigabit N router, Running DDWRT
--Integrated Microsoft IR reciver, for use on my 40'' HDTV and Harmony remote
--Top handle for easy portability

This morning, we sat down and came up with the following parts:
Mobo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131659
Ram: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820220545
CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103903
+
2x Antec TriCool 120MM
1x Perc 5i/6i raid card
Corsair TX 650
1x 500GB Laptop HD
4x 2TB Samsung F4

So after a 4 hour run to Micro-center, Frys, Food, Radio Shack, and Home Depot, We Began to assemble our design (See following pics:)

Update #2
Got the new PSU and Mobo in, and got them and the fans situated. Still waiting on the Corsair hotswaps to finish up everything, and still have not decided on what to do for the sides/top.

Looks really cool. I wish I had the knowledge of how to build own case. That'd be super cool! Creative, especially at the integration of a router.
