Okay, so i have reached 4.2ghz stable, and im trying for 4.6ghz. I need some help, i cant seem to get it to boot....

ive left my vcore on auto,

qpi/vtt 1.4 Dram Volt 1.5 (as per xmp settings)

What can i change, or set manually that will help with this?

Also, what can i do to lower my voltages while remaining stable (@ 4.2ghz) I cant get below 1.38V

vcore on auto is a bad idea to begin with - that's probably your main problem right there,

secondly i'd try enabled pll overvoltage, past 4.5ghz it's usually needed

adding load line calibration can stop vdroop - thus giving you a better overclock for the same voltage

pll overvoltage? is that a jumper on my mobo, or setting in the bios?

You are going to need a better cooler if you want to hit 4.5+. It'll be easier if you are under water.

pll overvoltage is a sandy bridge thing, I don't think he realized you were talking about a 1366 i7.

I do believe the other poster is right, you will really need watercooling to go much higher than 4.2ghz.
