crossfire + physx?

Alright so I have a spare old 9400 gt, and a PCI slot to spare on my sabertooth 990fx. Is it possible/worth it? Here is a picture for reference: http://forum.oktabit.gr/files/sabertooth_990FX_6.jpg
I currently have my 5770's in slots 1 and 3 (the tan ones) and there is no room, so I would have to move my second 5770 to the black slot (putting them very close together...so I could stick the 9400gt in the brown slot. What are your thoughts? Performance gain from adding the 9400 gt or loss from moving the second 5770 from the ideal slot? Thanks for your input!

9400Gt isn't really that quick of a card, but yes most Motherboards are designed to support SLI/Crossfire and a single slot at the bottom for Physx.

A. Not very many games use Physx

B. No performance loss.

You'd need to check what that black slot is, if it is a PCI-E 1.0 then you'd have performance loss but if its a 4x then it'll be fine.

Really tho a 9400 GT isn't powerful enough for a Physx I used a 8800GT (single slot) which is considered pushing it for top end Physx.
