I know this thread is kind of old but I just wanted to let you know that having extra fans on this Fractal R3 Case has been really helpful. Temps have gone from 70-75C to 60-65C under load and from 40C to 30C when idle. That's a 10C improvement! Anyways... Problem solved now... Thanks for the help

Doesn't seem that bad to me. My 2600k oc'd to 4.6GHz hovers around 70-75C on the hottest cores depending on the time of day (sun shines directly on my window most of the day). I have one gentle typhoon as front intake and another as back exhaust. Those temps are from folding 24/7.
