They have the same problem as Evga over here, they're overpriced while still only offering mostly reference or cheaped out non-reference designs, with standard 2 year warranty.

I never said that, the other guy was commenting on people having IQs of rocks, I was commenting on that. Please read the whole thread to understand what's going on.

I don't bash the company, I merely impart the knowledge I have recently gained on this forum (and others) about the type of issues people are having with the XFX RMA dept. No one is holding anyone at gun point telling them not to buy a certain brand over another but an informed customer is a smart customer.

Until XFX stops making these types of headlines on a regular basis and reestablishes themselves as a top notch customer service company (like they were) I will continue to recommend against them. It's really not that difficult to understand.

Most people have brands they don't like and they have their reasons. Get over it. I am sure you never have, in your entire life, ever spoken anything bad about any brand ever made on the planet. Stop being self righteous.

After finding out xfx sent an email to NCspec telling him they blamed him for all the negative press they received for denying his rma, I will never buy from them again. Lets not forget, the stains on his card were from the soldering process....those same stains are in the newegg product pics and it had nothing to do with his cards problem, yet they denied it...than blamed the negative press they received for unlawfully denying his rma on him. I really think loosing nvidia hurt there pocket book so much they started cheaping out just to break even.

Than you have the new thread where xfx says card arrived damaged, op has pics of card before he boxed it up undamaged, and than card comes back to op damaged more than xfx pics and evan missing parts. Xfx evan admitted there employees didnt follow all procedures and document boxing damage and other procedures.

They are either completly stupid employees or someone was lying. I would assume that those rma experiences would be enough for most people to stop using them.

Can u imagine making a thread like ncspec did, not bashing the company at all, just showing exactly wjat happened during the rma process and have the compang email you telling you its all your fault. Would kinda think that would make anyone mad.

hmm i was happy w/ my PSU but will know to avoid all of their gpu's. every time i looked up their gpu's when considering i always read not so great reviews about their cards except for black editions (i have black edition psu)

RMA acceptance would qualify for a good experience wouldn't it?
Cause seriously, if your RMA got rejected on unfair and absurd grounds, you definitely would take it to the forums and cry about it.

Every company has it's bad apples. You can't really judge a company you've never dealt with through a couple of big controversially named threads. You almost never see anyone make a post about how delighted they were with a RMA they had with any company do you? Every time an XFX QQ thread is posted, the same people come in and say they'll never recommend their products. When NCSpecV's thread was in the ATI forum, probably half of the threads in that form were about XFX's RMA service. If it was from ASUS or EVGA, the thread will just sink down and die . I've had 2 bad experiences with ASUS but that doesn't mean I wont ever buy their products again, I just wont consider them at first thought.
