nvm it turns out the fan profile thing was bugged. if I clicked enable manual fan speed, it would set to 100% lol regardless of the value I put in.

I restarted PC and it works fine now. I put it to 35% now if it goes over 50C and 40% over 65C.

Now I am temps like 63-65C biggrin.gif and I can hardly hear the fan its like whoooosh not too loud but kinda loud but not rly.

oh and it turns out that before my fan was always @ 25% that's why it was sucky. I like my card because the little msi thing always says either 59.9 or 60.0 FPS biggrin.gif and I'm on all ultra settings in SC2 and WoW and LoL or TF2 and Bad Company 2 but I'm bad at that game its just fun to blow up thigns

I never said my card was loud or hot.

OP, I'm glad it's solved and I told ya that 25% shouldn't be THAT loud.

K so with new settings doesn't break 63C under load!!! and I can barely hear it.

and i turned up the things from 1050mhz/900mhz to 1115mhz/935mhz but then I was like this is scary and reverted

I got a quick question though... My friend has 2 case fans attached to his card (gtx 570) to keep it really cool, and I saw a guide on doing it on these forums in the air cooling section... how does that work cuz it says u gotta take apart the card but is there a way to do that without pulling off the card heatsink
