+1... that's a great all around system, except for that dang lite on drive... I hate including optical drives in my builds, so ugly I would much rather have something external, but that's just me

That looks pretty good, though 90% of people have no real use for a dedicated sound card. You only notice the difference if you use high end sound equipment, otherwise its just a waste of $50 really.

Oh and what is the purpose of RAID0 in a gaming build really? It will double the chances of failure and can actually hurt access times. I suppose loading times would be better, though not anything incredibly dramatic. It won't literally halve loading time.

520w is a perfect fit without SLI. He did not mention that he had any interest in SLI as typically it is only a good idea if you get 2 cards in SLI to begin with. The whole "get one card now and another when I need it" idea is somewhat flawed unless you plan on buying a card secondhand. By the time you would need to SLI in order to play the latest games then your cards would have been phased out and you'll be forced to buy a used card, even though there probably is a card around then that could outperform the dual GPU setup.
Well Its always nice not having to upgrade something later, but it is his choice.

For $30 the DG is actually really nice, also most quality speakers may sound a little perkier with a sound card, although if the OP would like to play BFBC2 or does play it the audio gets kind of messed up with xonar cards.

Yeah, me too. I keep a USB Dvd drive for the rare occasion of playing dvd games or ripping music.

Gotta agree with this. The 900/902 is great for first-time builders, but as time goes on and if you ever want to switch to watercooling, the 900/902 quickly loses its appeal. It's still great for everything being air-cooled, though it can get a bit loud.

for roughly the same price which power supply should I get?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...^17-371-026-TS

Also the only reason I'm getting the antec 900 is because it's on sale for $60.

and the EVGA GeForce GTX 480 refurbished is for sale on their website for $219 are there better cards in that benchmark?

+1 for the suggestion of Noctua NH-D14 120mm & 140mm SSO CPU Cooler
That looks way better than watercooling. I'm just gonna have to jam it into that small antec 900
