Yeah, the majority of better AMD boards don't have an igp, partly due to the fact that it limits overclocks. If you want an igp then your only option would be the 700 or 800 series, the 900 boards don't have any boards with an igp (yet) as far as I know. biggrin.gif

With a bios upgrade below you will be able to drop in a bulldozer CPU on this board but apparently some features will be lost. Only time will tell.

Depends on what you mean by performance...
Will you get more fps in games? No
Will your computer run faster? No
Will you get a better overclock from the cpu? Most likely yes
Then you also have better support for multiple graphics cards
The more expensive boards also have some nice additional bells and whistles which come with the price premium

It really depends on what you're looking for.
