i thought with the new bios i reset my old bios.

The power options is on maximum

Is there a new bios for that mobo? Try updating to latest bios if havn't already done so. Also try clearing CMOS.

I cant tell from your last post if you have all 4 cores working or not. If so, ignore this.

Usually either bios or windows issue. If bios ok then,

Go to msconfig>>boot>>advanced options>>then check number of processors as 8 (8 threads actually) then restart, it should find 4th core in windows.

If your board doesn't have a clear CMOS button somewhere then pull out the battery and put it back in. It will reset all BIOS settings.
