Individual fan profiles in SLI?

Thread Starter
Right now, I'm using MSI Afterburner for the fan profiles. I've found other programs such as EVGA Precision, but there was no voltage control on it, as my 470s are currently undervolted. Is there a program that can set individual fan profiles and allow undervolting? I really do not want to run two different programs.

Reason I want seperate fan profiles is because 50% on one fan is about 2000rpms but 50% on the other fan is about 2600rpms, yet they both start to get loud at same rpms. Thanks!

Have you tried Rivatuner?
I've heard that it's able to set individual fan profiles for SLI.

Yeah, no RT doesn't really work anymore, esp. not on 64-bit Windows 7 w/newer drivers.

Last I checked it was an abandoned project, as it's creator Alex (aka Unwinder) works on Precision and Afterburner (much of which are based on his RT work, that's why the statistics server says 'Rivatuner Statistics Server', and in the lower right of the main app it says 'Powered by Rivatuner') teams these days wink.gif

What do you mean by 'individually'? Like, a different fan profile for each card in the SLI set? I've never seen any app that could do that, personally. Is it that big a deal to have the same one on both cards headscratch.gif ?

Yes, a different fan profile for each card. Both of the cards spin at different RPMs at a set percentage. I'll just give an example. I have the fans set at 50% right now. The bottom GPU spins at 2000 RPMs and the top at 2600 RPMs. The top one idles at around 38C, while the bottom one at 45C. Under load, when the temps rise to about 70C, the bottom kicks up to like 70%, which is like 2800 RPMs, which is completely tolerable. Yet, the top one is all the way at 3400 RPMs, which is like 4 times louder than 2800 RPMs. So, I want different fan profiles so the top fan behaves more like the bottom fan.

You can just unlink the cards in EVGA precision. its doable, not that hard.....

If you need help figuring out what i mean, post a screenshot of your Precision and I'll point it out

The problem with Precision is that I can't undervolt them, and the reduced voltage helps a lot with temps.
