CH5 formula RAID 0 for a beginner

Okay, so I have two of these hard drives

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822136322

but currently just using one of them for my windows drive and the other is in the closet. Can someone help me with a step-by-step on how to set up raid 0 with the two hard drives? I know somewhere along the lines I need a USB with raid drivers or something, but Ive never done this before. Do I need a separate raid card or can I use what the motherboard offers? Has anyone done it with this comination of mobo/hd's? thanks

1. set the sata chanels to raid in the BIOS>Advanced>SATA configuration
2. restart your PC
3. wait for the screen that shows what HDDs are available for raid
4. press Ctrl+F(dont wory if you miss it the first time, just reset your PC)
5. press 2
6. fill in what raid you want, what hdds are to be included and strip size(64K works better if you are runing small programs and 128K for larger). When complete the PC will reboot.
7. instert windows disc and wait for it to load
8. continue until you get to the primary HDD selection screen(you wont find any HDDs yet)
9. insert the memory stick with the raid drivers and choose instal drivers
10. install raid drivers and refresh HDD list
11. congratulations, you have just set up raid0

PS! even if you are instaling windows on another HDD not included in a raid, you will stil have to install raid drivers for it to show up. Another thing is you might get problems with the optical drive, so i recomend you set it in sata chanel 5 or 6 and set those chanels as IDE in sata config.

Thanks a lot. Will it automatically reformat each drive when setting up raid, or should I clear them out both first?
