You might just be best off giving it to your friend as you said if he's going to use it for any length of time.
Well I will try to sell it and list the not functioning busted dvi port but i'll sell it for 60$ as I just want it gone. If not give it to a friend. I just dont want to rma if they are going to give me a refurb, I have had bad experiences with those before.

You clearly dont know Toronto if you live here and think no one is in to PC parts.

I'll take that thing off you but not at $60 considering you just said one of the DVI ports is busted.

Well considering 260gtx go for 80-90$ i think my discount is sufficient. If thats whats stopping you from paying 60$ then I might as well RMA it to get one that has both ports functioning and sell it

What the hell are you talking about?

If I sell it explaining that one of the DVI ports does not work how is that dishonest? the customer either buys it knowing one doesnt work or he walks away. Do you have anything better to do than badger me?

LOL those of you on here saying don't do it cause fraud is bad need to get real. I completely agree defrauding an individual is morally wrong, like selling a car you know is about to grenade or something along those lines. However when it comes to a large market corporation that is absolutely raping consumers (they are not alone) on the prices of new cards I say go for it op, its your call. Do you honestly think that a gtx 580 should be $500? How about $300 for an Intel chip? Im sure they had you in mind while pricing these and not their own wallets... Do you think even with any of the great support out there that the company providing it cares that at the end of the day your getting raped without them even spitting on it? NO and if you think otherwise do yourself a favor go lick a light socket repeatedly until you realize how naive you are.

Get a 460 the same way you obtained your 260, given that you didn't rma a 6800gt or whatnot for a 260

Fraud is still fraud. You're saying that because they make a large profit margin, that it's ok to defraud them. You're wrong. This is why insurance rates are so high nowadays. It's because of fraud.
In progress.
