Safe or should I get out the fire extinguisher?

Today while I was surfing the web (About 5 minutes ago) a warning popped up from the AI Suite II application that my +12V reading which normally reads at 12.192V, had spiked to 24V. Alert Log:

[07/24/2011 at 12:23 pm] +12V 24.480 Abnormal
[07/24/2011 at 12:23 pm] +12V 12.192 Normal

Do you guys think that this was a sensor hiccup or a potential problem (sig rig for psu)?

I doubt it's a problem, those are verty good PSU's and more than enough for your sig rig along with an additional 580 in SLi.

I'd keep an eye on it myself but I wouldn't be too concerned.

Software voltage monitoring is worthless.

Thanks for the replies. This is reassuring as I think my fire extinguisher would be worth more as an antique than a working safety measure. I have to say, though, AI suite is really growing on me.
