1055T Unable to get above 233MHz.. Help

Thread Starter
Apparently I am retarded.....

I am unable to get above 233MHz with this chip. @ 233 I am stable.
Under full load w/ LinX highest temp I hit is 58c.

Motherboard: GA-80FXA-UD5
Memory: 8GB (4GBx2) G. Skill F3-12800CL9-4GBXL
Power Supply: ThermalTake 700Watt
Cooler: Corsair A70

I have read through the 1055T club thread, followed what others have done with this Board / CPU combo and nothing.

As soon as I go above 235 the computer won't boot.

Any Suggestions of what I can do?

TIA for any help.

drop the ram divider one notch.
that should allow at least another 30 fsb after cpu-nb+ ram voltages increases.
the problem is your ram is c9,so you cant slacken the timings can you?

I have dropped it to 5.33 w/ no luck.

On occasion I have gotten it to boot at 240 but windows wont load... I will get a bootmgr error or something similar.

Thanks.

drop 2 ram sticks or slacken your ram to 9-9-9-25 2T
that should do it

Try loosening the timings like MightyMission said.

Also that is some seriously excessive voltage. You should get that frequency at 1.2v or less, so try dropping it a bit to lower the temperatures.
