1055T Unable to get above 233MHz.. Help - Page 2

you can get more out of it!
no your memory doesnt suck, its binning that is causing the problem.
memory vendors can get more money for better performing ram,so they do.this means that your chances of getting great performance form average memory slims due to commerce.
im sure you can get some overclock out of it though.

i would have kept the cpu voltage the same and kept increasing the fsb till blackscreen or non boot.

now what are your other tabs saying?

Up to 270 MHz now... had to knock the memory down to 5.33...
VCore is back up to stock.

Getting ready to run LinX.

Temp only got to 45c or so.

mmmmmmmmmmmm try to lower the voltaje under 3.7 you dont need that much, even you can touch the roof of 3.8 with same voltaje but under 3.88 and above you will need the voltaje like you have it right now

try getting lower the ht frecuency try it to keep it under 2000

Also for performance u will need under 3.7 cpu -> 2700 nb-> 3.8 cpu 2.800 nb and above from 3.9 or 4ghz , from that u can go to 1.3v to nb (and thats is ok, i have like that right now)

ps: 45°c? from where remember that the 1055t temperature are ****ed up wth bad calibration sensor temperature, so keep it mind from where u see that temp could be 10°c+

your cpu-nb can go higher, which to be honest is the most noticeable change you can make when overclocking.
i think your ram can go higher, your nearing the 800 stock rating and i'd be surprised if you couldnt get another 40 mhz on top of that (1680).
You are edging towards 4ghz cpu though, which is an achievement

when you say crashes your computer, was it bluescreen or black?
increasing the mobo nb volts a touch might help stabilise.
what voltages are you at now? cpu/cpu-nb/mobo nb/ram

Drop the CPU multi to 10 or something so you can figure out what voltages you need to up the FSB. You're trying to do too much at once and you don't really know the cause of the problem. Lower the NB and HT so they stay a 2k as well until you can get a higher FSB stable.

if it was a BE chip and the OP was Occging multi and fsb at the same time that would make sense,
but as they are limited to fsb OCcing ,inevitably ram timings and cpu-nb/nb voltages come into play.
i might be missing the point here but what good does drooping the multi do?
