Whats your opinion on this one? My buddy is looking at getting it for gaming (bf3/hon/crysis2) + movies for his pc. It's 120hz, 1080p LED LCD, and has a 2.4ms response time. At $499 is it a good deal and have good specs?

I'd personally stay away from LG; their quality is less than great in my experiences.

Looks like a pretty decent deal - I have had LG products myself and they seem pretty solid overall - LED in cheap(er) tv's isn't always that great (uneven lighting) but other than that, looks to have some solid features for the $$, just my 2 cents

I have a lower model LG right now and have no complaints with it whatsoever.

I have a 37" LG as my monitor right here. It's great. Better than the 40" Samsung in the other room

I think there is no competitor in 37" monitors. w3000 is also cool. give it a shot.
