Well my RX120 and my MCR120 will fit there, the problem is that they both clash with the GPU. I previously modified a shroud to lift the rad a little so that it would fit in that position in my old case but I don't know if I want to put it in my new case; I already have two 240mm rads, an extra 120 isn't going to do all that much.

I could always put my card in the second PCIe slot and take the non-existant performance hit from going x8 instead of x16 but then I have trouble routing the tubing from the bottom rad.

My next board will have the primary PCIe slot as the second slot on the board (moved down one position). I think that solves all sorts of problems.

Pictures will come soon, at work right now. Not actually doing any work, I am just here.

I realise that I left this thread quite a while ago with the promise of pics and never delivered. Shame on me.

Here are some pics of my last build in the CM 690II:

3887ac04_Overall.jpeg

d543c53c_Overall2.jpeg

Things have changed a bit since, I now have a P8P67 Pro, i7 2550k with a Raystorm block and a 7970 with FC block.

Depends on your board. I have a MCR220 up there which is 34mm thick and it almost touched my 8pin CPU power connector on the P7P55D Pro. It is similarly tight with the P8P67 Pro.

You could possibly squeeze a 38mm rad in there but it will be tight.

They are, although they were sold as "Aquatuning" fittings.

They are not the best, the internal tubing is quite small and the machining isn't great - but they do the job.

If I wasn't on such a tight budget I would have got some better ones.

One question: Should i use fans this way, pulling from inside to outside, or in the same spot but outside to inside?
