What 580? - Page 2

I'd get the MSI GTX580 Lightning (obviously biased )

It is a very good card and overclocks very well

the MSI TF III is known as the Lightning for the GTX 580 version of the card with the TF III cooler. I also put a vote in for the MSI GTX 580 Lightning <-- should be 2 slots only.

Depends on how much space you have and will you be going SLI in the future. It's a toss up for me but I'd say MSI Lightning first and Asus second. I like my EVGA SC's just fine though and they are running nice and cool at the clocks in my sig.

the Galaxy one on newegg for today is currently under $400 after rebate
its the one with the arctic cooling cooler on it, i think its $397 after rebate.

My EVGA 580DS does me fine. Good temps even at high OCs.

'Tis more up to warranty and aesthetic than temps I think. They're all within 5 degrees.

EVGA -AR card for lifetime warranty or MSI TF3/Lightning for its cooler.

depends on your resolution and if you're using multiple monitors.
at 1920 X 1080/1200, you'll be fine

if you going for the larger monitors, or dual monitor setups, you'll want the extra VMemory of the 3gb ones.
