Can we get a side by side comparison?

The 6970m has lower MHz on the core, memory, shader.
As well as lower memory bandwidth.

+1
mITX makes me cream in my panties.

Also, I now see that the 6970m is kind of suck status. I feel like my old 4870 can match up to it -_-

Keep going down in the link provided, if you click on the + signs you can see that they compare it to desktop cards as well. The desktop cards are in gray.

What are the advantages of mITX? I haven't done any research on it vs mATX.

Just bring your full atx rig to college with you! Do you really need to game away from you dorm so much that you can't just use the laptop at slightly degraded performance? What would you do if you did not bring your ATX with you? Do what you want, and either way, you will end up happy.

mITX would be more expensive and require different power supply form factor while most likely have less upgrades available.

My plan is to take my full atx rig to college and leave the mini at home and to take to lan parties and such. My laptop is 2 years old and it feels much older. It really is that much degraded performance.... can't even play Rift on minimum settings with decent fps.

Don't build another mATX rig for college.. I'm also in college and I love my mediocre laptop so much more than my rig because i CAN'T fking carry it around and do my homework as shizz you know. Desktop gaming for college is a bad idea overall because it's for college and it needs to be portable. So in this case, you'd MUCH better off getting the sager.
