Computer Won't Recover From Sleep State?

Thread Starter
Hey guys,

Trying pretty hard to figure this out with no avail...

Everything on the computer works perfectly except for the one damn smallest thing. When I put the computer into sleep mode it doesn't re-post the screen after i hit the keyboard.

Whats happening is the computer appears off after I sleep. Then I hit the keyboard and the computer goes on like normal. However, nothing shows up on the screen, my keyboard flickers the lights on my G15 and my G5 mouse doesn't even turn on.

Everything works fine from normal shut down - boot. It is just sleep - boot that it won't show anything on the screen.

Suggestions?

I'd turn it off...

I had this problem on my P6T, i7 920, it wouldn't boot and only solution was completely shut down. One time, it did shut down, rebooted .. and I got back to everything where it was when I booted it back up.

It's definitely a waste of time when you can use AI Suite to put it into max power saving and idle from there.

I had this problem earlier last week.. i think it had to do with a windows update..

Open the control panel, and go to Hardware and Sound > Power Options

Click on "Change Plan Settings" on your current power plan. Then click on "Change advanced power settings"

Click on the "Sleep" tab, Then "Allow hybrid sleep"

Change the setting to off.

This fixed it for me.. I dont know what hybrid sleep is, but it was messing it up for me.. Make sure you do this for every setting, just in case.
Hope this fixes your problem
