Amd xp64 ???

Anyone running AMD XP64 on Crosshair V? any issues?
Microsoft supports this and I had no issues with it
with c4e... a little tricky with V but thats the fun of the V(for me).
Just wondering if anyone has had experiences with
this and the outcomes.
Thanks.c.

I don't really see the advantage.

Definitely not an advantage. More of, 'for the Challenge' really.
As if Win7 64 isn't challenge enough.
With all due respect, 6 years ago isn't the updated version of today.
(But I see your stats and take your word for it.) Was it specifically the
AMD 64 version?
But as pointed out, without a real advantage it seems to have no
point or home...shame really.
Thank You.c.

JedixJarf: Congrats on the "Folding Millionaire". What an awesome endeveror.

I ran XP 64 bit edition for a few years, its great as long as you stick to microsoft applications and not much else. expect to have a performance drop in all video games and pretty much all 32 bit applications. it was basically a failed attempt at making windows server 2003 64 bit a desktop OS. I namely used it for VMware, but dual booted with 32 bit for everything else.

AMD ver.? I see you a intel'r now.
I agree though, its more of a toy for amusement now, than anything serious.
But like much in this, sometimes I just got to make it run..
All a chess game to me, who wants to play a game anybody can beat.
Thanks for the input.c.
