Help make the Crosshair V GENE a reality!

Thread Starter
Hey guys! I just created a thread over on the ROG forums to help build community support for the development of a Crosshair V GENE, and would like to invite you to come join the movement! This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in this board to be heard. The ASUS guys over there do a great job in listening to the interests and feedback from the community.

If you are or are interested in ASUS products, ROG products, AMD products, SFF builds, case modding, any combination thereof, or any other reason you can think of the either suggest features or support its creation, then please drop in and let us know. You shouldn't have to register to cast your vote in the poll if that's all you feel like doing, or you can register, join us on the dark side, and start making suggestions!

The thread is located here, or you can check my sig!

I would hold off on this for a bit....IMHO

wait for further revisions of the original CH5, for bugs to be worked out, better BIOS, more RAM compatibility, more bug fixes
etc.....

THEN push for a GENE

To be honest, I am pretty sure that is why ASUS has not already released a GENE or Extreme yet, I just want to do my part to help keep another generation from going by without a crosshair gene .

Sweet man! Personally for my next build I want to go SFF, try to get the most power out of the smallest footprint with an AMD/ASUS/ROG build. I am even contemplating custom building my own case! I just want to do it with an SFF crosshair, so unless ASUS pulls through on this one, Im going to either wait a looooong time, or be forced to compromise on my vision . (and I NEVER compromise my visions )

I am heading over there ASAP..I will tell them, 'If you build it, we will come.' Cyretekk taking the lead.
Can't wait to see your build. I never even thought of it.
C4E is a monster board. Out of the question to do anything except a
monster case, cooling ect... Cooling?hmmm.
It could be awesome to have all that
power packed on a gene..unleash that badboy at a lan 'party', or able to move it around with ease...let the vision flow.
ROG in a shoebox..Ut-oh..Im getting excited. An AMD gene...yum.
Thank You....Best of Luck.c.

I made a thread similar to this a couple months back. Too bad, it didn't draw out much attention.
