RAID 0 On Windows 7 Help

Thread Starter
Hi All,
My motherboard doesn't seem to have a RAID option. So I'm trying to configure RAID using Windows. All the options are grayed as per screen shot displayed below.

I have made both disks Dynamic and i can only see "New Simple Volume". All the other options are grayed.

Any help is appreciated.

I don't see anything grayed out.

You should be able to right click the Disk0 box -> create striped volume.

I haven't done this before, but I have seen the options. You don't click the unallocated box, but the grey box to the left that contains the "Disk 0" text.

I could be wrong, but I wouldn't think you would be able to raid your discs while one has your os and other partitions on it...

Ya, you can't make a raid in win7 using your boot disk cuz when you make a raid it deletes all your **** and pretends like its a totally new one.....which you cant do while your running it. TIME TO UPGRADE THE MOBO BRO.
