Corsair Force 3 SATA RAID0 Issue

Thread Starter
I had just recently purchased (2) Corsair Force 3 SSD’s.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820233194

I installed them instantly was loving the joy of having 976 MB/s read speeds in a RAID-

Using a 2500k and AsrockZ68 mobo.

However I would get a BSOD randomly and have been unable to pinpoint the issue. When restarting the drive one of my drives becomes undetected and therefore the RAID fails.

I open the computer unplug the power on one drive and plug it back in (doesn’t matter which drive as I’ve tested both)

All of the sudden both drives are seen and the computer boots regularly. Until the next BSOD where I would have to do this again to restore my raid.

Don’t really know where to start and what programs to check to see if it’s the drive or a chipset/sata driver error/Raid – 0 unforeseen problem with z68?

Any thoughts Ladies and Gents?

after you set up the RAID, did you align the drives?

im talking about for the RAID
afetr you setup RAID you have to align them
go into command prompt
type:

diskpart | hit enter
list disk | hit enter

find out which ones are the RAID ones then type:

select disk (followed by a space and the number of the disk)

then you align it by typing:
create primary partition align=64 | hit enter

(i'm suggesting you use 64 but there are different sizes of alignmnet and i suggest looking up what all of this is so you know what is going on)

this will get everything working together correctly.
you may have to re-format for this though; but it is an absolute nessecity to have your RAID aligned.
