Buying a new laptop for the upcoming semester - Page 2

I bought a Lenovo IdeaPad Laptop for the wife. They come in 3 flavors with the discount link I posted. I3/I5/I7. The specs you get for the price with the available discount, 3 year warranty upgrade and free shipping are well worth the investment. Some may disagree, but I only buy from Lenovo or Sager from now on. http://www.logicbuy.com/deals/lenovo...top/19286.aspx

That Lenovo deal seams pretty good (for the discounted price) but the resolution of the screen is much lower than the Asus or MSI, the hard drive is slower, the video card is not nearly as good, the wireless card seems lower end and the battery is a 6-cell as opposed to the 8-cell (in Asus' model).

as for xoticpc, i haven't really heard of them (at all actually), any way i can check it's reputability (sp?) ?
