Bug glitch something weirdly messed up

Thread Starter
I just found out something very odd happening in my system be it nvidia or Ati vid card it's the same problem so I'm sure its not videocard nor video driver but more concerning a glitch with flash player and windows itself now here is the thing:

If I try to watch youtube videos while gaming my coreclock of my videocard goes to iddle examble stock is 900mhz for my 6870 it goes down to 300mhz while having any game open so obviously this results in a horrible thing for people who enjoy watching videos while playing their mmorpg's on different screens like me I use Firefox if that has anything to do with it I didnt know where to post this but since my board and everything I use is AMD thought of posting it here.

Hope someone has experienced this before and knows a way of fixing this I could not find anything useful on the web

Well I don't know much about clock speeds fluctuating as I'm kinda a noob with all this, but I do know that AMD Cool n Quiet can cause your CPU core speed and multipliers to change rapidly. It normally isn't supposed to cause a problem unless you're overclocking but...I just noticed no one has helped you out and i felt like offering something even if its not much lol...you can diasble Cool n Quiet in your bios, best of luck with this odd problem
