So this is a remote control app for afterburner on your pc? Huh? I must be missing something, because this seems like the most pointless app ever!?

You're sitting in front of your pc, you want to overclock your graphics card, so instead of just opening afterburner and setting it, you get your phone and go through a load of rigmarole.

Other alternative, you're no where near your pc, so you can adjust your overclock using your phone, but if you're no where near your pc, why would you want to adjust the overclock?

Some one enligten me...

i think they did this so you can be at your computer, testing it in a game/app and not have to exit game/app to adjust settings.

Say your playing a game for example crysis 2, and your having a blast, Soon you notice the frames dropping a lil too low for your liking.. Take out your phone and overclock the gpu while in game, instead of alt-tabbing and potentially getting you out of your groove. You can even see your frame rate on your phone! Set polling to 1sec.

I hope MSI can add in a .5 Sec polling rate in the next update?

Still waiting for a reply on the "not compatible with Nook Color" -- Alex, maybe you could put the apk on a public FTP server and let people who have "unsupported devices" give it a go. NCs have WiFi and Bluetooth, and most of the rooted ones are 2.3 or newer (CM nightlies are 2.3.4). It may not scale to the display resolution very well, but it will likely work.

I assume a download link is posted there -- G3D blocked here at work (oddly enough). I'll check when home.

If so, TIA.
