Does OC still apply itself when Afterburner isnt loaded?

Thread Starter
GPU-Z seems to report that unless afterburner is running my voltage reverts to stock settings which I would like to change because I really like the precision in game temps/fps monitorbetter but it wont work while afterburner is in RAM. So I generally have afterburner closed so that I can run precision, but porecision doesnt increase voltage so If I do this my voltage seems to drop.

Im sorry if that made no sense but can anyone help me find a way around this?

Afterburner has no way to set your settings when its not open - what you could do is find the best stable clocks and voltage and then flash your cards bios with the updated settings which would be really the only way around it.
