Seriously, please tell me know thought it was a good idea to use eight microscopic screws for the side panel?! I've lost three of them already, if I keep losing them at this rate, I won't have any way to put my side panel on, as Lian-Li did not include any extras at all! I've tried to contact them to ask for more screws and they have not answered my email.

Replace with thumbscrews?

I hate how all the micro cases are geared towards HTPC. I want a small gaming rig which is light enough to carry without effort. It is so hard to find a case which is good looking, functional, and will house most/all parts you want in a decent rig. He posted this in a thread I made earlier as a case recommendation before posting this as a news thread. It does look like a beautiful blend of size and functionality. Still not big on the bare metal innards.

As for the post above, go to microcenter, they have bins full of thumbscrews with a graphics on them (biohazard, radioactive, CS:S, et cetera) and each pack of 4 is about 79 cents. It is worth picking or ordering a few if it bothers you that much.

1 - pretty sure those are not using the same threading as thumb screws making them incompatible.

2- That would be so incredibly ugly. Completely defeat the purpose of a matx case why don't you?

Indeed it would be ugly but it would stop the issue, would it not? Also, most mATX cases are meant to hide in a corner and not be seen seeing as they prefer to be used as HTPC's... which I still disagree with. I can fit a sick nasty rig in one of these if I had the money.

They supposedly solved this problem with this revision, I think don't think the side panels use micro-screws, screws to be secured, thumb screws or something similar are used.

Hope it's not expensive (which I know it will be, will wait for a sale to get one)

I compared my FT02 to the V1020 series, which had dust filters also.
The filters on the V1020 were rendered useless due to the uncovered holes in the front panel.
Just saying the V353 will be a dust magnet, combined with a small enclosure, it's not ideal.
