Razor Naga or Rat 7?

Thread Starter
Hi guys,

i wanted your opinions on these two mice. I play alot of FPS and MMO and sometimes SC2. I wonder which is the best fit for these types of games.

I see the the Naga has buttons for quickslot and group commands for mmo and SC2 but is good for FPS as well?

The RAT 7 get good ratings from what i heard but can it be as good for MMO?

Please advise. Also where can i find good deals for either of these?

Do NOT get the R.A.T. 7. One of the worst mice ever made.

Naga is purely for MMO, although I can see it working for SC2 (but you really shouldn't rely on macro buttons on mice in SC2). It does not work for FPS due to its button placement and sensor. The RAT 7 doesn't have that great of a sensor for FPS either, but it's a love/hate relationship with RAT users since its not for everyone.

Naga would be the right choice if your really into MMOs since it can make a difference in game. Otherwise I would look into other mice for FPS.

I just recently bought a RAT 7, and it's a fairly good mouse. It moves smoothly, and is really customizable. I skipped the Naga, because I don't play many MMOs anymore.

Another mouse you may want to look at is the mamba, it's basically the RAT 7 competition.

I got a razer naga molten edition and its nice. The buttons took like an hour to get used to and after that it was awesome!

Too bad my keyboard sucks ($3... I got it at a yard sale)

I ... play FPS with naga since first released,
now playing blk ops, bc2, arma2, crysis2 just name a few.
I use naga because my left fingers can place on "wasd" 100% of the time.
FYI I'm a bad typer
