I would recommend the naga just because i think the RAT looks uncomfortable.

Those mice has different focuses. Naga focus in mmo and RAT in FPS. I think you should just pick according to what game you play or enjoy most.

I have Naga and it is really great for mmo, rpg, and rts games. it is also good in general use if you program the side button for shortcut. The software is also good, macro editing is so much easy. My only problem is razer's quality, bad feel for right and left button, and squeaking wheel (but only for a short time, then it become normal again).
I have never use RAT though. But rat looks so overpriced in my eyes.

I have both mice, and I tend to use the R.A.T. over the Naga Epic, even in MMOs.

Naga would be great for MMO's, WoW and such.
The Rat 7 I don't know I've never used one but I hear it's feels cheap, but most love it for fps.

Except for its crappy sensor, at least when it's compared to every other sensor out there.

I disagree with that you say.

I have had 2 Razer Naga's, one brand new. The other was refurb. Both Razer Nagas broke... The cursor sensor just goes out. One day, you'll turn the mobo on... and BAM, your cursor is stuck in them middle of your screen, unresponsive to all actions. This happened for both me and a friend. We both got RMAs and returned it, only for it to brake a month afterwords.

Now I have the R.A.T 7, only for about a week now. But I love the little thing, it feels expensive to the touch. The whole underside of it is metal, and the top has a nice look and feel to it. Everything is customizable, which is WAYYY better than 16 other buttons I didn't use.

Plus, its uncomfortable to reach and click 8 of the 16 buttons the naga has.
