Thread Starter
Ok guys he's some free rep if ya help me out.

Asus G74SX-BBK7 Should I break down and buy this? I know they have a gimpped version of the 560M and it only does 1600X900. I feel like this may be a big deal in the long run what do you guys think? I was trying to match another Laptop with the same spec's but I just cant for the price. If you know of one in the same price range let me know!

Thanks!

very close to the same specs, saved you 200 dollars, and you get a free Xbox 360 with this one:

http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/...7600/list.true

but out of stock... worth looking in at an MS store to see what they have for the free 360 to then sell

It's an awesome gaming machine and I seen no problem with 1600X900 since it's good and wouldn't put that much strain on the gpu like for example 1980x1080 and you can crank up the details even more.

And I LOL at the price, the notebooks in USA are so cheap compared to the notebooks here in Croatia, an notebook like that here where I live is at least 2300 dollars and the wages in Croatia are a lot smaller than in USA.
So consider yourself lucky you can afford such a beast

I think it is a good deal. Playing 1600x900 will save you some FPS too. The gimped 560M is basically equivalent to a 192bit 460M. This Sager NP 8130 is pretty damn close though.[/url]

Oh and the laptop dutchgenius linked is a POS compared to the Asus.
