Like I said, I'm still a couple of weeks away, but I like the idea of using some used parts GPU/Ram/PSU for instance.

Because i'm an idiot, I realised the reason i'm running at 720p at the minute. One reason is this PC doesn't run video at 1080p but the main reason is. I don't like the way that everyday tasks Chrome/Gmail/etc looks in 1080p. It kind of portraits everything with sidebar space on everything, with 4pt font. I'm fine to stick with 720p.

I don't mind if the GPU is the weak link, because thats expected to need updating the most? As long as everything else is, and I hate to use the word *'future-proof'


*I define 'future-proof' as 18-24 months.
