I have been looking into those. Any that you recommend
post #4 of 26
What monitor resolution are you looking at btw? I would recommend a GTX 560ti if it's up to 1920x1200.

As for the hard drives, have you considered a Samsung F3 1TB instead of the Seagate one too? A Crucial M4 64GB SSD would be great as your boot drive and even for a couple of games.

Darco I am looking at 1920x1200. I have considered that one..SSD will have to wait a while but would like to get one
post #6 of 26
Okay nice, be sure to check out the GTX 560 ti (and the MSI twin frozr one to be exact, since it's the best brand for the cooling and OC'ing out of Asus, Gigabyte, etc).

You can also just wait with the SSD until you get enough funds, since hard drive installations are pretty easy and installing the OS shouldn't take more than 15 minutes smile.gif Just get it when the time is right imo, they're still kinda expensive as they are new technology.

I have read awesome info on that card. I am excited about getting a card and the noctua cooler soon. Whwat do you think about the noctua cooler
post #8 of 26
You're referring to the Noctua NH-D14 right? After all these years, it's still a heavyweight champion that beats everything else out there, with the exception of the Thermalright Silver Arrow.

They say the Silver Arrow is neck on neck, but it's dethroned the NH-D14 imo tongue.gif Still, it is the best cooler around.
