that paste is fine, don't bother replacing it, but don't OC the processor until the D14 arrives....

You can also just wait with the SSD until you get enough funds, since hard drive installations are pretty easy and installing the OS shouldn't take more than 15 minutes Just get it when the time is right imo, they're still kinda expensive as they are new technology.
I second this Twin Frozr FTW!

The GTX 560Ti is a good price-performance card... kind of like how the GTX 460 was a year ago.

Look out for SSD sales they have at newegg, CC, NCIX, etc. There have been some good deals going around. Recently, CC had a 120 GB Vertex 2 at 150$. So check out the deals before you pull the trigger - you might be able to find one that fits your budget on the day you're making your purchase

Just to let you know, I went through two GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 motherboards and hours of troubleshooting over the past couple of weekends before giving up on Gigabyte altogether. I had a finite post-POST boot loop, which isn't the same as the dreaded and patented Gigabyte boot loop that some other Gigabyte Z68 owners have had, but it was still aggravating enough to not be worth my time to continue to troubleshoot exactly what was going wrong with what was otherwise a great board for its price.

You may have better luck with it than I did, but I seriously detest that motherboard right now.

I couldn't agree with this statement more. Unless you're used to an extremely fast computer and need to tweak a little bit more "snap" out of it, SSD's are over-rated.

My thoughts on Noctua coolers. Pure quality! Fit and finish are superb. Function follows form.

I hope you actually own one or have owned one to have made that assumption . I my own experience, an SSD is one of the best and most noticeable changes you can make to ANY system.

My computer died on me after a few years and I had put the 1tb drive in. Since I am getting new drive its so I can transfer files and have more space for video editing since money is tight. It was a better option than order the dongle to use a couple of times.
