I wouldn't either. You can get open box 6950s from Newegg for a little more than that, which is a much better deal.

whuuu? 2gb is for 1440p+... which no one would use a 460 for. This card is a contradiction and a waste of money. Whoever thought "well this is a good idea" should stop thinking.

Memory pool is nice, but better cards can be had for a bit more.

2GB of VRAM on a GTX 460 is a waste. Even if you're gaming on larger resolutions over 1680x1050 you're better off getting a more powerful card with less VRAM. A pair of 1GB 460's in SLI would be better. Hell you can even get two 768mb versions for $200 these days and in SLI they kick ass.

Keep in mind that sli doesn't combine the memory. 2gb could be useful for games like Crysis 2. That game chews up vram like candy.

I know this, but like I said unless he's gaming at those bigger resolutions he is better off buying a more powerful card with less VRAM. Memory can only do so much for you.
