Too bad you don't have any controllers to just hook up and give your work a try.

But man that's so awesome!

I wouldn't be surprised if you get more requests for these to be made.

I already have. A couple of YTers have PMed about them. Who knows...it's a neat invention.

Getting ready to cut the window. I wish I could get a side panel that fits that case with no fan grills formed into it. They are up so high it makes putting in a window a bit tricky.

I'll wait till you return my latest PM before I do it. But I am itching to go.

Got the rear fan grill area cleaned up for max airflow.

Window and light and a little more sleeving and we will be at the fork in the road...the juncture where you get your case back or tell me to do more crazy stuff to it

Who knows? More game ports? lol

http://cgi.ebay.com/NES-USB-adapter-...ht_1318wt_1396

Just a lot of stuff, but I think I'll be perfectly fine with what it does have integrated in now.

Any other controller types can just use a standard USB port on the outside.

I don't want to use up my entire 5.25" bay for every port ever made. lol

That might be a good theme for one of the mod comps here...the PC that can accept any controller.

Got the window cut and test fitted. Now I need the 140mm location.

Best result I have obtained yet on a steel panel. No damage to the finish. Perfectly straight edges and right angle corners.

I throw laser beams from my finger tips.

I wish.

I use plastic cutting bits and tools. With the window I cut it to size on the table saw with a special blade. Then I mount it by drilling the steel first, then taping the window in place temporarily and using a backing scrap of ply I drill the plastic using a special drill bit. Then I use some blue tape to mark where the fan goes and remove the window. I then use a template I made to drill he 4 mounting holes. Then I bolt the template to the plastic and use my router to route that 140mm hole. This makes a giant mess of plastic snow in the shop so I vacuum it and myself and wash and dry the plastic panel to destatic it (the machining charges the plastic and it attracts every speck of debris around).

Sound like fun?
