Here's more of the details of what got done this evening.

Made this out of smoked acrylic on the router and edged it in thick channel.

It mounts a 120mm fan under the DVD Drive.

Made a tiny square hole in a Nexxus Mesh PCI Plate for the CCL slide switch.

More square holes for tiny rocker switches. It's not as easy as it looks

Painting the CCL Inverter Box. This also got some matte clear.

CCL tube in the bottom.

CCL tube in the top.

Comparing color of Inverter box to the factory finish.

Modding the fan leads to molex.

Painted and completed fan trimmer plate. Blacked out to match case.

PCI Plates in place.

And pretty much laced up. Hoodcom is installing the hardware so he'll be able to arrange the cables to his satisfaction at that time.
There might be more...but this is pretty much what I was asked to do. Hope he likes it

beautiful work, could you go a little more in depth on how you mounted that fan in your spare 5.25 inch bays? Is it a 120 or 140 fan? I would like to do the same, I just bought the clear side panel and much to my dismay, it only supports 120mm fans so I have an extra 140 lying around

140mm will occupy 4 DVD spots in the 5.25 bay. 140mm is about 5.5 inches. The bay is only about 5.8 inches wide...you just need some velcro stuck to the right and left sides of the fan to attach it. Each DVD slot is about 1.75" tall. 3 high is only 5.25" so you have to use a 4th. That leaves about 1.25" to fill. the easy thing would be to use a piece of foam at the top. But you could cut a piece of plastic or metal that width plus enough to catch the top two fan mounting holes and attach it to the fan to fill the gap. There is not really enough room to do what I did with the 120mm.
Even with the 120mm hole there is only a tiny bit of space above and below the fan hole in the plastic. The only way to make a hole and leave such a small amount of material without destroying the plastic in the process is to route it out on a template carefully and drill the mounting holes with a plastics specific drill bit. You could also have it laser cut...but routing is more expedient and cheaper. If you have a router and the requisite skill to use it.
