Is your Vertex 3 running fine?

I just updated the firmware and installed windows and it has been running fine ever since...however there are tons of reviews about getting BSOD...anyone else on here experiencing the same after recent firmware update...im a bit skeptical about this drive after going through all those reviews eventhough ive had zero problems so far

i HAD BSOD issues on 2.06. 2.09 seemed to have fixed them.

Thanks...same here...no BSODs so far. And does not even seem to have those "waking up from sleep" issues. This SSD is a friggin beast!

Had bsod issues with 2.06 and 2.08 firmware.

2.09 has been stable for over a month now.

This is my first and last OCZ product. For OCZ to place the blame on as many things as they did and say a firmware won't fix the problem then to come out with a firmware that seems to have fix it makes me wonder.

Mine arrived just after the release of 2.09. I flashed immediately. Never had any issues, no BSOD.

No issues with 2.09. The ones I received came with 2.02 and I flashed them up to 2.09 as soon as I received them.
