Too bad an Intel i7 920, LGA1366 doesn't have Intel integrated....

Or integrated graphics at all for that matter.

Please help me figure things out to be on a right path, so that i would get a quality parts and less money... And help me decide if an upgrade is really necessary....

Here is my current specs:
Case: Thermaltake Element G
Mobo: Evga X58 SLI LE
CPU: i7 920 DO @ 3.2ghz
Ram: 6gb Corsair Dominator (OEM) 1600mhz 9-9-9-24
Primary HDD: 2x WD Raptor 150gb on Raid 0
Secondary HDD: 1Tb WD Caviar Black
GPU: Evga GTX 460 1Gb Stock
CPU Cooler: Corsair H50
Pshyx Card: PNY 8500GT 512mb

Here are some things looking at:
Evga GTX 570,580 or 560
EVGA X58 Classified3 3way sli
Corsair AX1200
Corsair HX 850
Corsair 600T White Edition
Corsair Dominators GT

If any suggestions will be appreciated, thanks in advance

1. Overclock your cpu MORE
2. 570 or 580 single or in SLI
3. A good 650 watt psu if you just want one 570 or 580. Corsair AX850 if you want to SLI 570/580unless you plan to 3-way SLI
4. Only buy another case if you think the one you have is ugly or inadequate
5. Don't bother with different ram. You got good ram already, you won't see much of a difference in performance unless you are benchmarking.
6. Grab a SSD.

I will give you alot more power for less money than upgrading to a newer single card and your power supply will run both of them just fine. Also, try to overclock your processor more. I've seen that 3.8ghz is easily achiveable with your chip.

hi i was looking for some RAM sorry to tell you but its kind of too late but yeah my board i think does not support higher frequency RAM such as 2000mhz not unless i guess to tweak it but idk how these would work but if anyone please help me out if i can get a higher ram frequency with my board?

If it is too hot at 4.2GHz, lower the overclock and voltage. And doing push pull you have both fans blowing the same direction? Like FAN--->H50--->FAN NOT FAN--->H50<---FAN or FAN<---H50--->FAN

yes sir that what i was trying to do fan->h50->fan as exhaust and i tried intake at the back and it is even worst than what im posting right now it sits on 4.01ghz at 1.30v ram is at stock... and idles at 38c and loads at 95c... i am so scared about this i actually switched my old case back and temps dropped like about 2c and it wasnt enough for me to push it a little further due to heat issue.
i reapplied the paste in diffrent ways and end up using the pea size and still the same called corsair and they said temps are fine but i'm not convinced... im stuck frown.gif
