What are normal temps for this setup?

Thread Starter
I have an i7 950 at stock settings in one loop. The other loop has 2 GTX 580HC2, eVGA stock settings.

The CPU loop goes from res/pump to CPU (HK 3.0 WB) then a Blackice GT 120 rad then back to res.

The GPUs go from res/pump to bottom gpu, then top gpu, then a 120.3 rad then res.

The res is a pump combo from koolance with 2 pmp 450. I have the 5.25" pump controller, both pumps maxed out.

At idle the CPU is in the high 30s. The gpus are around 41 playing FO NV, not a stress on the cards at all.

Im waiting on a 30w per ch. fan controller to power the delta fans i have at the rads. I dobt want to stress it out too much untill I can turn the fans up higher.

So what kind of temps should I keep an eye on. Im new to this and just built my first WC system.

You're temps are a bit high, but still quite within the standard range. However for one thing, you don't get a whole lot of difference in a WC setup based on routing (some, but not a lot) because eventually the entire system reaches an equilibrium temperature. You should be able to reach low 30's or high 20's (most likely low 30's with only a single 120 rad in series) with a WC setup. The best way to drop temps (for minimum pricing) is to put your rads in push/pull with shrouds.

You really shouldn't see your temps top 60 unless under quite a bit of strain, and I'd start worrying if you were hitting 80/90C.

Sorry to come in and be off topic here, but on OCN there is a part for you to fill out your system specs without using up your signature.
