Razer Blackwidow is horrible. - Page 2

Dude, the black widow may or may not be horrible, but the reasons you specify show that the black widow doesn't meet your keyboard preferences. Keyboard slope, LEDs, Macros, etc. are subjective things and don't comment on its build quality.

Try a board with cherry browns, they're quiet, tactile, and about as soft as the blues.

Before you reply with comments like you just did, how about you look at the stickies.

That can guide you to your personal heaven of mechanical keyboard. This is the thread I spoke of. There is a lot of discussion, and questions can be asked and answered. Assumptions should never be made when concerning any peripheral.

tl;dr: do more research, open your eyes.

There are tons of reviews on the keyboard that will mention the click it makes. You should have went out and read up on a the different switches. Theres a great on on here that describes each and every one of them. It'll mention the different slopes of keyboards. BW reviews will certainly mention the lights and different features you can customize. That's what I meant. Look up reviews of a product to see if it fits your needs before you go out and purchase it and then trash it because it annoys you

Eiw EB games.

I loved the feel of the black widow when I messed with it in a Best Buy. Keys were smooth yet you could tell when it clicked. I loved the slope, I guess because I am used to a laptop. It is all personal preference though. Any keyboard I have used makes a noise, not necessarily a click like good ol mechanicals, but they do make noise.

The black widows is still next on my choice.... although I do love my Merc's gaming layout. Love being able to hit 6-0 without needing another hand.

Sounds like you love simple. Razer wouldn't be for you as they love glowing things

Ah yeah, the thread that was the catalyst for the marketing bonanza.

Against my better judgement I posted on forums where glowing lights, water cooling and other niche markets are exaggerated and exploited. Knew you people wouldn't have been helpful. Most of you barely read the main post.

I'll have a moderator lock this thread, and I won't be returning to waste my time.
